简　　介  

　　影片获得威尼斯电影节评审团出格奖和新锐演员奖。报告1920年月塔斯马尼亚岛的一位21岁爱尔兰犯人克莱尔被判7年徒刑，她很是渴望摆脱凌虐她的仆人霍金斯中尉，尔后者拒绝开释克莱尔。克莱尔的丈夫艾丹停止了报复，而中尉和他的好友们是以对她犯下了可怕的罪行。
