简　　介  

　　对音乐布满天赋予豪情的钢琴神童肖邦生活在缭乱的战争期间，祖国波兰正在被沙俄侵涉，他的音乐教员遂不懈带动他前往巴黎成长。长大成人的肖邦（柯纳·王尔德 Cornel Wilde 饰）愈发散发着爱国主义精神，不但奥秘加入反动会议，还当众拒绝为沙皇演奏钢琴，为此让自己与亲友堕入危险，不能不连夜逃往巴黎。在光彩陆离的艺术国家，肖邦相逢了铁娘子作家乔治·拿（梅尔·奥勃朗 Merle Oberon 饰）并被其深深吸引，但是乔治·拿对他的爱却更多的是一种占有，她让肖邦隔离与昔日联系，专心在屋里整天作曲，只准到贵族沙龙演奏，不准举行公然售票的演奏会。就在与世隔断的恋爱和音乐空间里，肖邦的肺炎日渐恶化，而与此同时，远在波兰的亲友却在比来一次抵抗活动中全数被捕，急需赎金。而虚弱的肖邦，唯一的筹钱方式只要赌上人命举行演奏会，一面是情人的死力否决，一面是故乡群众的安危，眼前是自己不治的身材与黑白的琴键，年轻的肖邦将若何决定……
