◎简　　介

　　内尔在埃迪叔叔的帮助下去酒店帮手照顾客人的孩子，她需要一份工作已经很久了，是以很感激埃迪叔叔。表面温顺，灵巧的内尔哄小女孩睡觉后，被女仆人的珠宝金饰和标致衣服深深地吸引。此时，和女朋友闹别扭的飞翔员杰德回到房间，看到窗户劈面穿着富丽、正翩翩起舞的内尔。未几，杰德发现内尔的思维有题目，后来埃迪告诉他，他的男朋友死于空难，她承受不住冲击，今后精神庞杂，在医院治疗了三年后刚出院，家人希望她换个新情况，将她送到纽约。没想到她的病照旧没有好，她行为不端且具有暴力偏向，人们只好将她再次送入医院。
