　　剧情围绕美国陆军的一个小分队展开。他们借着自己的强势职位，迫害了一位无辜的伊拉克女孩及她的家人，故事在一次残暴的强奸和谋杀中到达颠峰。
　　影片锋铓毕露，尖锐地揭暴露战争带来的无辜灭亡和伊拉克人面临战争时的无助。电影让观众思考并起头质疑获得的任何信息和事务。由于，真相经媒体和政治等等的高效力过滤器过滤以后常常已经走样，酿成了为一小部分人所用的工具。最初电影抛下一个题目期待着大师思考：一旦我们晓得了真相，战争的意义何在？一切的悲剧将向谁倾吐？
