　　好莱坞怪才昆汀塔伦蒂诺的电影一向以情节荒诞布满黑色诙谐而著称。他1996年监制的电影《留低你个死人头》也不破例，说的是女配角嘉比拉自幼便对杀人事务布满猎奇，一向都想要晓得究竟割下的人头能否会有知觉，能否还会措辞？恰好这时发生了连续串凶案———一位冷血杀手以凶残的手段谋杀 了数名交际名嫒，并把她们的头割下。嘉比拉把握机遇，决议对此案件停止深入观察。
　　盖布莉（安琪拉琼丝饰）小时辰曾在谋杀现场目击尸身，形成她潜认识中对这类奇异经历有一点惧怕，又有一点猎奇。由于住在高犯罪率的迈阿密，盖布莉仍对谋杀案的细节存著稠密的爱好，天天还仔细收看相关消息、作剪报。迈阿密发生持续断头命案，受害者均为多金少妇，凶手是以被冠上「贵族杀手」（威廉鲍德温饰）的称号；盖布莉对于这位奥秘杀手的行凶动机一样抱持激烈的猎奇心。为了更接近案件真相，盖布莉居然前往一家专门清算命案善后的清洁公司应徵女佣，并恰巧来到「贵族杀手」比来犯案的地址，谁晓得····。
