在查尔斯·李·雷伊将灵魂注入公仔十年后，他昔时的女友蒂芬妮（珍妮佛·提莉 Jennifer Tilly 饰）多年不懈寻觅他的着落，终究买通差人将玩偶“楚其”的残体带出，蒂芬妮凭仗不熟练的伏都仪式，将缝合的楚其再次叫醒。但是醒觉的楚其对蒂芬妮并无爱意，悲伤的蒂芬妮将楚其禁锢，不想却被楚其把她的灵魂移入了另一个女玩偶的体内。两个玩偶要规复人类身材，就必须找到埋藏在查尔斯·李·雷伊宅兆中的护身符。因而他们盯上了一对儿被尊长阻止的情人杰德（凯瑟琳·海格尔 Katherine Heig 饰）与杰西。两个玩偶拜托后者驾车将它们送去埋葬雷的墓地，同时一路大开杀戒，私奔的杰德与杰西惊觉自己堕入了玩偶情侣的掌控……
