◎简 介
伊娃（蒂尔达·斯文顿 Tilda Swinton 饰）是一位胡想周游天下的职场女性，但突如其来的婚姻和意外的怀孕使她放弃了自己的理想，成为了一位家庭妇女。可是，她的牺牲换来的却只要失望。从小凯文（Jasper Newell 饰）就不是个使人费心的孩子，无停止的哭闹，对母亲的关切无动于衷，对于这样一个孩子，伊娃难免有些安于现状。很快，一个小女儿的诞生打破了僵局，遗憾的是，小姑娘天生失语，这悲凉履历更是让伊娃将自己全数的爱倾注在了她的身上。
成年后的凯文（埃兹拉·米勒 Ezra Miller 饰）与母亲之间的间隔越来越远，却是和父亲很是亲近，他爱好射箭，父亲便送了一副弓箭给他，没想到，正是这副弓箭带给了这个家庭以及全部社会一次幻灭性的冲击。凯文到底怎样了？谁也没法回答，就连凯文自己，面临这样一个题目，也只能沉默以对。
