　　20世纪30年月，风浪诡谲的上海，正是红色可骇满盈期间，中共地下党谨慎而灵敏地存在世。一个绝密会议由于判徒的出售而被破坏，会议现场周边的人悉数被捕。地下党负责人王峰（梁家辉 饰）突围后要求不惜一切价格敏捷构造救援，本来1号人物“王牌”恰在被捕者其中。仇敌闻讯大喜却苦于没法鉴别实在的“王牌”，因而动用各类残暴死刑，诡计从怀疑最大的五名女性——“小学教师”赵碧薇（林志玲 饰）、“寒暄花”苏捷（阿娇 饰）、“茶室老板娘”王霞芬（蒙亭宜 饰）、“大学教授”施教员（苏瑾 饰）以及偶然被牵进事务中的“女门生”小红等生齿中撬出“王牌”的真相……终极狱中推出了“王牌”的尸身，将一切人推到失望边沿。
