But all is not quite as it seems. To say any more about what turns out to be a remarkable story would be to spoil the outrageous, almost unbelievable twists and turns contained in this dark and fascinating doc. Consistently compelling and superbly shot (the dramatic reconstruction scenes are as cinematic as any Hollywood thriller), this one is a must-see.

His family believed he was dead until a call came 3 years later saying tourists had found a traumatized teenage boy in southern Spain, believed to be Nick. His mother couldn't make the trip due to her poor health, so Nick’s older married sister Carey flew to Spain to be reunited with her brother. However this boy may not be who he says he is.
