　　二人对孤儿院情比金坚，怎能眼睁睁看着孤儿院“沦亡”？哥俩从长计议，决议重拾自己的音乐奇迹，为孤儿院巡演揍钱。因而，之前的乐队又重新组合起来，热热烈闹的一大队人在舞台上起头了磕磕绊绊的表演。凑钱还是其次的题目，他们得先处理意外碰到的一大堆麻烦事，比如差人的误解、黑帮的追杀……拯救孤儿院的动力让他们所向无敌，魅力四射，同时也找回了他们自己的音乐胡想。
◎幕后揭秘
　　美国笑剧演员约翰·贝鲁西和丹·艾克罗伊德在《周六夜现场》中第一次缔造出布鲁斯兄弟的脚色，举世影业决议将二人的表演拍成电影，艾克罗伊德随即起头编写剧本。在1998年的记载片《〈福禄双霸天〉的幕后故事》（Stories Behind the Making of The Blues Brothers）中，艾克罗伊德称自己此前从没做过编剧，他用长达324页的笔墨详实论述了两位仆人公的身世及乐队成员的招募进程，篇幅是普通剧本的三倍。为了减缓长篇大论的负面影响，艾克罗伊德用厚厚的剧本开了个玩笑，将《洛杉矶黄页》的封面连同剧本一并交给建造人罗伯特·K·韦斯，后者找来约翰·兰迪斯将艾克罗伊德的作品改编成实在的电影剧本。
　　1979年7月至10月，剧组在芝加哥及其周边地域完成了片中大都场景，芝加哥女市长简·M·伯恩（Jane M. Byrne）赐与了大力辅佐。作为一座见证过快要200部电影拍摄过程的城市，芝加哥也是片中的明星之一，艾克罗伊德在接管《芝加哥太阳时报》采访时说：“我们在影片中写下了对芝加哥的赞美。”为避免遭到干扰，剧组决议在周日拍摄发生在芝加哥市中心的场景，其中大都地区不答应公众进入，耗资高达350万美圆，可谓芝加哥有史以来数一数二的大建造。
　　在拍摄最初的追车场景时，剧组确切空投了一辆福特Pinto，为了让直升机从跨越一英里的高度投下轿车，剧组必须获得联邦航空治理局颁布的出格适航证，审批时代，航空治理局曾以为在空中遭到空气动力影响的汽车能够会对四周修建发生威胁。片中著名的“Bluesmobile”警车实在是于1974年退役的道奇摩纳哥巡查车，制片方在一次拍卖会上买下了加州公路巡查队的13辆退役警车，以便打造威风八面的“Bluesmobile”，其中有些用于高速追车场景，有些用于飞车镜头。在拍摄大范围的追车场景时，剧组以400美圆的单价采办了60辆警车，这些警车大都在拍摄中被毁。剧组聘请的特技车手多达40人，一家24小时营业的汽修店随时为剧组维修受损车辆。
　　《福禄双霸天》(The Blues Brothers) 由约翰·贝鲁什和丹·艾克罗伊德这对耍宝明星出演，是美国无厘头式电影的典型，仆人公在项目推动进程中阴错阳差地被差人和黑社会追捕，他们每一次城市在一番布鲁斯气概的歌舞后有惊无险地得以脱身。影片里现实利用的警车“Bluesmobiles”（1974）是美国汽车制造公司Dodge Monaco著名的产物。在这部电影中总共利用了12 辆“Bluesmobiles” ， 其中包括一辆特制的可以腾空落地后摔成两截的汽车。据称，由收藏者收集的十多辆“Bluesmobiles”均为复制品，唯一的一辆原车由男配角DAN Aykroyd的姐夫具有。在电影拍摄时代， 一重要演员因驾驶一辆片中的“Bluesmobiles”，在限速80英里的州际公路上以100英里的时速超速行驶而被逮捕。履行导演由于过于在意那辆“Bluesmobiles”而差点忘了保释那名演员。本片以其出色的蓝调音效获得Golden Reel 最好音效－最好音效编辑。
