　　某小村中学，对考古具有稠密爱好的教员八部高史（竹中直人 饰）及其门生月岛令子（上野めぐみ 饰）在停止一项研讨时双双失落。一时候校内助心惶惑，各类蜚语猜测四起。行为怪张的考古学家稗田礼二郎（沢田研二 饰）应八部教员的约请来到这所黉舍，他偶然救济了八部的儿子正雄（工藤正貴 饰）。正雄既担忧父亲的安危，又惦念其所暗恋的女孩令子。稗田操纵自己发现的魔鬼探测器，在夜晚和正雄来到黉舍。成果发现，八部教员在考查一座古墓时，无意中开释了存身其中的魔鬼比留子。听说比留子是《古事记》中初神伊耶那岐和伊耶那美的孩子。她的新生，为安静的黉舍带来一阵腥风血雨……                                    
                                本片按照诸星大二郎的漫画《魔鬼ハンター》改编。
