◎简　　介
　　飞速成长的日本经济打破了茨城县鹿岛久长以来的安静，大产业涌入，农业区纷纷酿成了临海的产业基地。山泽家长男幸雄（根津甚八 饰）脑瓜灵活，用变卖地盘的钱买了一辆自动卸货卡车，靠为工地输送沙石赚了大钱。有了钱的幸雄起头沉迷毒品，然两个儿子溺水而死却让他警醒过来。幸雄请人在后背刺上观音像和儿子们的戒名作为超度，但与妻子文江的关系却越来越严重。未几，弟弟明彦的女友顺子来到鹿岛，她很快为幸雄的故事所吸引……                                    
                                本片荣获曾获1982年《电影旬报》十大佳片第二名、最好男配角奖第三十七届逐日电影比赛优异电影奖、摄影奖被评为1980年月日本最好影片第23名。
