　　一次飞船意外，长着黑人样子的异星兄弟（乔•莫顿 Joe Morton 饰）坠落在纽约，他能听懂地球人类的说话，却不会说。幸亏在纽约不会说英语的黑人一大把，所以他也没引发人们留意。由于不懂地球规矩，他闹了很多笑话。当他学着他人从水果店老板的收银机那边拿钱时，引来了差人。一败涂地的他在酒吧里展现了修理游戏机的绝活，在社工的帮助下找到了一份维修工的工作。                                    
                                一次参观美国博物馆时，他对照着仆从的照片向人们说了然自己就是外太空的仆从，现在正被外星仆从主派来的猎人追捕……
