　　1977年的《阴风阵阵》报告了美国女孩苏茜来到德国一所历史悠久的芭蕾舞学院进修，成果在黉舍里碰到了一系列奥秘事务、女门生接连遭到血腥残暴的杀戮……经过寻访，苏茜发现这所黉舍本来是一群女巫的大本营，而自己将是下一个受害者！终极，苏茜杀死了黑魔女，逃出了魔窟。
　　
　　据悉，卢卡·格达戈尼诺翻拍的版本将忠厚于原作，故事仍设定在1977年的柏林，而为该片作曲的将是美国今世著名极简主义音乐家约翰·亚当斯（John Adams），他曾为卢卡·格达戈尼诺的《我是爱》创作过电影音乐。
　　
　　虽然没有正式公布，可是明显达科塔·约翰森（Dakota Johnson）将在这部电影里饰演女配角苏茜，而蒂尔达·斯温顿（Tilda Swinton）则将饰演芭蕾舞黉舍的校长。
