　　女会计师耶拉（Nina Hoss 尼娜·霍斯 饰）遭受生活危机，与具有暴力偏向的丈夫本（Hinnerk Sch?nemann 饰）仳离后，她在汉诺威阿尔法飞机厂找到一份新工作。在出发确当天，渴望赢回前妻的本上门纠缠，对峙送耶拉前往火车站。路上，两人发生剧烈争持，冲动的本撞断桥栏，将车开进河里。
　　
　　爬登陆的耶拉掉臂湿漉漉的身子和身旁的本，拎着包向火车站跑去。但是时运不济，当初先容她进入公司的主管被解雇，耶拉的工作再次没有着落。偶然的机遇，耶拉结识风险投资司理人菲利普（Devid Striesow 饰），她的人生起头出现起色……
