简　　介  

　　奥崎谦三，二战时代曾为日军自力工兵队第36连队的兵士随军队驻扎在巴布亚新几内亚。战后，奥崎并未回归安静宁静的生活，而是展开了另一条凡人没法了解的斗争之路。他曾因杀人入狱10年，还在新年朝拜天皇的仪式上用弹弓射击天皇，尔后更以极为剧烈和持久的方式追讨天皇在二战中的罪行。与此同时，奥崎的萍踪遍及日本各地，只为清查一个真相：在战争竣事的第23天，36连队有两名流兵遭到枪决，而这背后隐藏着残暴血腥且惊心动魄的究竟……
　　本片荣获1988年蓝丝带奖最好导演奖、1988年电影旬报最好影片第2名（读者票选第1名）、日本电影导演协会新人奖。奥崎谦三于1997年出狱，2005年6月16日归天。
