简　　介　

　　22年前，诺曼贝兹在自家的旅店中，刺杀了正在淋浴的女佃农玛莉莲，而被关进了精神医院，一关就是22年。现在，加州政府按照医生的诊断决议让他重回社会，他获释后，返回了山丘上的陈旧旅店。诺曼在当地一家餐馆中找到了新工作，担任厨师的助手，是以熟悉了年轻的女办事生玛丽，两人坠入了情网。可是未几后，诺曼却在自家的窗口，看到了死去的母亲，接下来，小镇上便发生了连续串的谋杀案，这些凶杀案会是诺曼的所作所为吗？他真的康复了吗？
