简　　介　

　　单独生活的上班族小柊，一日收到母亲从故乡寄来的一个庞大的橱柜。自从这个陈旧的橱柜来到小柊的家里，就接连发生了连续串奇异的工作：抽屉里堆满好吃的零食，早饭稀里糊涂的做好，衣服被叠得整整洁齐……本来这些“天上掉下来的馅饼”，都是住在橱柜里面的座敷孺子：胖胖儿的大五郎、古灵精怪的次郎吉，还有阿正、半平，以及温优美丽的由纪跟阿妙。这六位座敷孺子是奉养柊木家历代的安人（掌管家中各类巨细事务的女仆人）。小柊跟他们建立了深厚的友谊。
