简　　介  

　　塔莉（米歇尔·菲佛 Michelle Pfeiffer 饰）是个普通的女侍应，但她心里一向有个当播音员的胡想。她何等想她的胡想可以实现，因而她把自己已经的拉拉队表演的录影带寄到电视台，她本以为对方不会对她感爱好的，但仍愿意尝试。
工作却超乎了她的设想，她不但获得了电视台的录用，并获得资深记者沃伦（罗伯特·雷德福 Robert Redford 饰）的指导。第一次播报天气消息的时辰塔莉表示得不如人意，但她获得了沃伦的激励，而且很是专心得向沃伦进修。终究，两人在多时相处的时光中，爱上了相互。塔莉对记者这份工作渐渐的上手了，她获得沃伦的帮助，奇迹成长得非常顺遂。但世事难料，成婚后的沃伦到了巴拿马，却在采访中不幸中枪……
