　　一次偶然中，马蒂碰见了名为克拉拉（贝琪·布莱尔 Betsy Blair 饰）的女教师，和马蒂一样，克拉拉由于已经的一段失利的豪情而变得自大又外向，这样的两小我由于类似的际遇而走到了一路。但是，他们之间的鸿沟是庞大的，两人的真爱能否终极跨越这鸿沟，修成正果呢？
