       1961年4月12日莫斯科时候上午9时零7分，加加林乘坐东方1号宇宙飞船从拜克努尔发射场起航，在最大高度为301千米的轨道上绕地球一周，完成了天下上初次载人宇宙飞翔。《第一轨道》这部记载片就是为了纪念加加林进入太空50周年而拍摄的。  
   
       为了拍摄这部影片，国际空间站变更了自己的轨道，使之与五十年前加加林乘坐的东方一号的轨道尽能够重合，从而使空间站上的摄影师有机遇用自己的摄影机重现了五十年前加加林在太空中看到的天下。导演将此次壮观的重现与俄罗斯档案中保存的实在影象材料停止拼接，终极制成了这部105分钟的记载片。在youtube上刊行二十四小时内就有一百三十万人在线旁观了这部记载片，刊行四十八小时后观影人数更是到达了二百三十万。除在线公映之外，4月12日当天这部影片还在75个国家的跨越1000块荧幕上停止了公映。公映地址包括巴黎的结合国教科文构造总部、西雅图的波音总部、慕尼黑四周的欧洲空间局哥伦布控制中心等。
