◎简　　介　

　　在回家的途中，一位贩子（安德烈·杜索里埃 André Dussollier 饰）遭受了罕有的狂风雪，昏入夜地当中，贩子误打误撞来到了一幢奢华奥秘的城堡前。贩子在城堡中遭到了贵宾般的优宠遇遇，但直到最初，贩子仍然不晓得城堡的仆人究竟是谁。狂风雪停歇了，贩子预备分开，临走之前，他决议在花园中摘一朵玫瑰送给自己最爱好的小女儿贝儿（蕾雅·赛杜 Léa Seydoux 饰），而令他没有想到的是，长相狰狞的野兽（文森·卡索 Vincent Cassel 饰）出现在了他的眼前向他索命。
　　贩子失魂落魄的回到了家，将自己的遭受告诉了六个后代，爱父心切的贝儿决议取代父亲，单身来到了城堡。但是，期待着贝儿的却并非灭亡，而是加倍美意的招待，野兽对她唯一的要求，就是不要分开城堡半步。贝儿并不惧怕野兽，随着时候的推移，两人之间的关系越来越近。
