◎简　　介
　　空中牢狱是美国输送全美最危险的罪犯而专设的飞机。卡麦伦（尼古拉斯?凯奇 Nicolas Cage  饰）坐上这趟飞机，不是由于他罪行滔天，而是他为了赶在女儿生日那天，亲手给女儿一份礼物而申请的一次飞翔。他在狱中表示杰出，典狱官答应了他这个请求。但是，却有一个困难——在这趟飞机上，还押送着一帮杀人狂魔。
　　警探很是留心随时能够出现的危险，但防不胜防的是，飞翔进程中那帮大盗还是挟持了飞机上全数的差人，卡麦伦也被迫帮他们完成逃走使命。
　　空中的联邦军队决议把飞机打下，把狂徒一网打尽，身陷险境的卡麦伦该逃出这个空中牢狱？
