◎简 介
一艘从金星返回地球的宇宙飞船,坠毁在陆地上。其中有两名生还者,卡达上校和夏门博士。有群西西里渔民将他们拯救登陆,一位当地打鱼的小男孩发现一个希奇的罐子,里面装了状似胚胎的动物,小男孩便将此罐子卖给动物学家。美国国防部派起头搜寻失事的宇宙飞船,而卡达上校也苏醒过来,并警告众人罐子内的生物乃是金星人,将会以极快地速度长大。金星人逃走并躲到罗马的动物园,美国国防部也派人追逐在后。金星人已长成如高楼般的庞大怪兽,并惹起一阵紊乱与众人的发急。金星怪兽最初和一只大象展开决战。在众多人类与怪兽匹敌电影中,本片可谓佳构。
