简　　介

　　梅兰妮与马修两人合作购屋，并处心积虑，将旧屋子整修得脸孔一新，不外由于财力不敷，他们必须找寻租屋佃农，以负担存款。迈可基顿，在本片中以温文多金的新佃农形象出现，但在设想选入新房后，迈可基顿逐步展露狰狞邪恶的真脸孔。他不但拒缴分文房租、骚扰其他佃农，还一步步经心策划，要逼使梅兰妮以及马修堕入财政危机，甚至威协他们的生命。梅兰妮在自己流产、男友受枪伤后，决议尽力还击，和迈可基顿展开剧烈斗智，拯救自己的生活。
