简　　介  

　　在冷战白热化期间，在交际圈申明欠安的华德喜好上年轻天真的歌舞女郎莉丝，并决议将她塑形成刺眼而圆滑的名媛；未几后莉丝便成为苏俄水兵随员尤金伊瓦诺夫，及英国国防部长普佛墨的密切朋友，当这桩奥秘佳话被媒体揭穿后，一切相关人物都天诛地灭普佛墨告退、莉丝入狱、伊瓦诺夫被遣返、而华德也因仲介卖淫的罪名遭到起诉。

　　本片是按照1963年发生在英国政治圈内，著名的〃普佛墨丑闻〃所改编。导演迈克尔.卡顿.琼斯(Michael Caton-Jones)还有「英烈的光阴」、「赤胆豪情」等作品，布里奇异.方达（Bridget Fonda，「黑色终结令」）在片中还装出英国腔介入表演，此外〃年轻食人族FYC〃的主唱罗纳德.弗雷泽也在片中轧了一角。
