　　水兵中尉Ted Jackson是一位蛙人，过着深海排雷潜水员和酒吧驻唱的两更生活。有一天Ted发现了一艘满载西班牙银币的沉船，就率领着他的朋友Jo和Judd一路去寻宝。可是，狡猾的花花令郎Gil Carey也在搜寻同一处宝藏沉船，不但离间Ted和出租潜水装备的老友Jack船主的关系，还操纵女朋友Dina破坏Ted的计划。Ted能否成功呢？
　　本片是猫王的第23部电影，位列《综艺》杂志1967年全美票房榜第50位。猫王在其中演唱了六首歌曲，但没有一首是抒怀歌。这也是猫王登上大银幕以来的头一回。本片的原声碟只卖出了3万张，是猫王在RCA旗下销量最差的一张专辑。
