◎幕后揭秘
　　在这部出自行动片导演沃尔夫冈·彼德森之手的《空军一号》中，美国总同一改发号出令的幕后决议者形象，而是成为置身反恐火线的行动豪杰。当初涉影坛的安德鲁·W·马洛带着他的剧本找到灯塔电影公司建造人乔纳森·塞斯泰克时，后者立即发现《空军一号》正是他一向在苦苦寻觅的佳作。塞斯泰克说：“我们需要一部非比平常的行动片，现在的行动殊效已经发挥至极，而大量的伤亡人数也早已层见迭出，只要让身处权利之巅的国家元首化身行动豪杰才能真正声东击西。”
　　影片于1996年9月16日在俄亥俄州首府哥伦布市开拍，剧组挑选用当地的里肯巴赫（Rickenbacher）百姓保镳队空军基地替换了片中的德国拉姆斯泰因机场，并在那边完成了一系列复杂而惊险的空中特技。导演彼德森回忆说：“那是我拍过的最难的一场戏，除了一架扮作空军一号的波音747和六架护航的F－15之外，我们还要在飞机尝试着陆时动用数十架直升机以及大量的军队和车辆，而且一切都在移动傍边。”影片拍摄获得了美国军方各部分和俄亥俄州及加州百姓保镳队的大力辅佐，军方供给的技术顾问和装备有用提升了影片情节的可信度。

　　片中空军一号的内景全数在索尼电影公司的15号摄影棚拍摄完成，该摄影棚是美国最大的摄影棚，1939年的《绿野仙踪》就曾在此搭景拍摄。虽然空军一号的内景出自全尺寸布景，可有限的空间仍组成了不小的应战。哈里森·福特回忆说：“为避免屡次反复拍摄，摄影部分必须开动脑子革新摄影器械。感激沃尔夫冈和我们的摄影指导迈克尔·包豪斯，由于本片的舱内场景完成得很是出色。我比来有幸看到了沃尔夫冈重新剪辑的《从海底动身》，可以看出他可以用新奇而风趣的手法控制严重悬念，并将其归结到人类行为。”
　　在美国总统赴怀俄明州度假时代，福特、彼德森和艺术指导威廉·山德尔曾获准参观实在的空军一号。不外出于平安缘由，空军不答应他们摄影，参观地区也遭到了限制。山德尔说：“片中747的三层结构全数按实在尺寸建造，那时我们参照的是图纸，包括我们获得的官方照片和报纸及杂志上能找的的一切公然照片。让人出乎料想的是，我们在设想工作起头未几便有幸登上实在的空军一号，这简直是天赐良机！”
