　　《希望的诞生》这部电影的布景设备于杰克逊《指环王》三部曲之前：报告了阿拉贡的怙恃阿拉松（Arathorn）和吉尔蕾恩（Gilraen ）从相碰到相爱，并生下阿拉贡以及和他们的北方族人在兽人的威胁下，在中土流浪失所的故事。这个故事源于托尔金的小说《指环王》附录中的几个段落。
　　这部电影和之前先容的《搜寻咕噜》一样，也是一部非贸易电影，不会停止任何贸易化操纵，完全由《指环王》爱好者介入拍摄。这部电影的最初的构想始于2003年，该片的导演兼演员Kate Madison决议送一部电影加入“指环王爱好者电影展，可是这个小小的想法逐步演酿成一个大志壮志的的工程。2006年4月他们建造了第一个电影剪辑短片，现在朝这部电影仍在拍摄中，估计2009年建造完成，届时，将在互联网上免费供给下载。这部电影时长大约60分钟。
