简　　介  

　　大正九年，身穿浴袍的青年（松田洋治 饰）在一间昏暗封锁的房间内醒来，隔邻不竭传来少女的哀号，他落空了记忆，完全想不起自己的姓名和来历。这时，自称九州帝国大学精神科教授的若林镜太郎（室田日出男 饰）走入房间，他向青年报告了一件很久之前发生在中国的悲凉故事，并以为太古祖先脑中的记忆经过某种方式传给了这名叫做吴一郎的青年。上一任精神科院长正木（桂枝雀 饰）曾对此停止深入研讨。
　　未几，业已灭亡的正木博士居然出现在吴一郎眼前，他向一郎供给更多的线索，但是这一切却越发扑朔迷离……
　　本片按照侦察小说家梦野久作同名作品改编。
