◎简 介
随着科技的不竭成长，人类赖以保存的地球却遭到越来越严重的净化和威胁。某天，一架庞大的飞碟出现在地球上空，引发列国公众一片发急，谁也不晓得这个不速之客将对他们的命运带来怎样的影响。飞碟终极下降在美国华盛顿公园的中心，当地差人和军队倾巢出动。飞碟被全部武装的甲士和洽奇的公众团团围住，经过两个小时的对峙，悬梯从飞碟中徐徐探出。随着舱门的翻开，一个体态与人种别无二致的外星人克拉图（Michael Rennie 饰）和满身金属的机械人出现在众人眼前。这两个外星人似乎为了地球的命运而来，他们暗示出友爱，却未获得应有的回报……
