　　中心电视台与新西兰自然历史公司（NHNZ）、美国公共广播电视台（PBS）、德国电视二台（ZDF）等机构结合摄制的5集大型自然类高清记载片《大承平洋》，将于2017年12月31日至2018年1月4日，天天21:00在记载频道播出。
承平洋覆盖了全部地球面积的三分之一。它的 面积跨越地球一切陆空中积之和，代表性的庞然大物在这里安家落户，珍奇物种在这里繁衍生息，还有无数尚待人类挖掘的奥秘生物潜伏在此。
记载片《大承平洋》应用4K高分辨率摄像机停止拍摄，打破陆地与陆地的界限，之前所未见的方式显现承平洋的故事。本片拍摄的物种和故事多达近30个，散布在全球14个国家和地域。倾覆传统以地域、习性、物种串联故事的方式，一集一个感情主线，一个动物配角，经过它的迁移，将分歧动物的故事串联在一路，而且每会聚焦于承平洋的某个标志性特点：豪情、贪心、狞恶和奥秘，将承平洋上的各色故事交织在一路，刻画出这片陆地丰富多彩的每一面。为观众领会承平洋供给新颖的视角，激发观众共鸣。
