　　导演彼得·耶茨和编剧史蒂夫·特西契继合作出光芒四射的《冲破》后，却不意合作出这部失利之作。剧情先容一位大厦门警为了追求他迷上的电视女记者居然伪称他晓得发生在大厦内的一件凶杀案内幕，并可帮女记者获得独家消息，不意二人却是以卷入重重危机当中。影片虽然有威廉·赫特、西格尼·韦弗等名角的倾力合作，但剧情推展紊乱而乏神彩，缺少惊险悬念性，可欣赏性有限。该片对电视传布消息的指责也说不出所以然，唯一部分片断尚可观。
