人们总是难以顺从《郁闷星期天》的哀痛情调，本来这首歌与一段复杂凄美的恋爱故事有关。上世纪30年月的匈牙利都城布达佩斯的一个餐馆里，美丽的伊洛娜（艾丽卡·莫露珊 Erika Marozsán 饰）同时被两个汉子深爱着。一个是餐厅老板，另一个是钢琴师。三小我都并不愿意改变现况，打破平衡，伊洛娜同时具有两个汉子的爱而深感安静幸运。钢琴师为她创作出《郁闷星期天》，他和餐厅也是以一鸣惊人。
